This guide is published monthly to enhance participation in VOTF/GP. All committees, with the exception of the Steering Committee, seek interested persons to join in the work of the affiliate.

VOTF/GP MONTHLY PRAYER VIGIL

Voice of the Faithful of Greater Philadelphia will hold its 38th monthly prayer vigil at noon Friday, April 3, in front of the office of Cardinal Justin Rigali in the Archdiocesan Office Center, 222 N. 17th St., calling on him to address the clergy sexual abuse crisis in greater depth and to respond to concerns raised by the affiliate. All VOTF/GP members are urged to attend.

General Meeting: A general meeting scheduled for April 14  at Chestnut Hill College and featuring Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, author of Failing America's Faithful: How Today's Churches Are Mixing God with Politics and Losing Their Way, has been cancelled at the request of the speaker because of family obligations at this time. The next general meeting will be announced at a later date.

 

Steering Committee: Tuesday, April 14,  at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Bud Bretschneider, 21 W. Tulpehocken St., in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.

Reminder:  Annual dues are $15 for individuals and $25 for families. Without membership income, VOTF/GP would be unable to sponsor its informational programs and bring outstanding speakers to the Philadelphia area. Members should make their checks payable to VOTF/GP and send them to VOTF/GP, P.O. Box 4397, Philadelphia, PA 19118. Every dollar counts!
